Trojan.FBFraud.A

Trojan.FBFraud.A is a mischievous Trojan that is involved in the Pink Facebook scam which tries to attract PC users to survey web pages or other risky services that increase phone bills. Trojan.FBFraud.A comes as a fake plugin that corrupts the computer users' PCs. Trojan.FBFraud.A, as the plugin, only works with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox browsers, other programs avoid being infected with Trojan.FBFraud.A. When Trojan.FBFraud.A is installed, the extension allegedly likes the infected website and posts a message on the affected user's wall to assure that all his/her friends are jeopardized by the scam. Finally, the PC user is redirected to a survey website that ensures great prizes and all types of amazing features. If victims don't carefully read the fine print, they can conclude paying for unwanted phone services, or they may be tricked into sending SMSs to premium rate phone numbers.
