Trojan.Fakeavlock is a Trojan that deliberately changes the security status of the targeted machine, locks software programs making the computer unusable, and tries to persuade the victim to spend money on a fake security program. Trojan.Fakeavlock results in system instability by fulfilling actions that block the affected computer user from accessing specific applications on the compromised PC. When executed, Trojan.Fakeavlock drops a particular file. Trojan.Fakeavlock emerges as a security application and accomplishes lots of actions. Trojan.Fakeavlock informs about supposed malware infections or computer problems on the workstation. Trojan.Fakeavlock delivers disturbing pop-up security notifications about nonexistent malware infections or computer problems on the corrupted machine. Trojan.Fakeavlock will force affected users to pay for a so-called full edition of the bogus security tool to supposedly uninstall supposed malware threats or PC problems from the computer. Trojan.Fakeavlock restricts access to legal application by blocking them from starting, or shutting them down if they are already started. Trojan.Fakeavlock restricts access to websites by illustrating a security notification in the web browser.
