Trojan.FakeAV!gen45 is a malicious Trojan that assists rogue antivirus programs in spreading and tricking users. Trojan.FakeAV!gen45 does not require a user's permission to enter a system and once it is inside a computer it will operate in the background to avoid detection. Trojan.FakeAV!gen45 will generate fake pop-up warnings and security alerts designed to trick a user into paying for fake security software. Trojan.FakeAV!gen45 may also slow down a system and allow other threats onto it.
