Trojan-Downloader.Agent.RE

Trojan-Downloader.Agent.RE Description

Trojan-Downloader.Agent.RE is designed to infect your computer via email, through security holes in your browser or via other unethical methods. Afterwards, it will embed itself in your system by copying its files to core system folders and creating additional registry keys in order to be launched on Windows startup. When the installation phase is complete, the parasite will proceed with its malevolent activity: it will begin downloading various spyware and adware applications onto your machine thereby causing extensive damage in the form of multiple infections that will target your sensitive information, generating popup adverts and consuming large amounts of system resources.

Aliases: Ad-Spyware.Agent.rf.1, Adware.BHO.XSearch [Sunbelt], Suspicious File [eSafe] and ADSPY/Agent.rf.1 [AntiVir].
