Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A
Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A is a Trojan that overwrites master boot record (MBR) to navigate through the Windows operating system. Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A is able to hide itself from PC users by enabling kernel-mode hooking to cover malicious processes. Windows Explorer is the default system program to navigate through the targeted computer memory because of the ploy used by Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A for MBR. Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A may alter other logs in the boot sector so that other errors could occur. To uninstall Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A, relevant debugging in the sensitive area affected by Trojan:DOS/Gupboot.A should be incorporated.
