Trojan.Agent.ATWK is a dangerous backdoor Trojan that is a part of a fake email that notifies the imaginary resignation of President Traian Basescu of Romania. The malicious email comes from central press to television Antenna 3, announces the resignation of President and involves promising clips that demonstrate the reaction of the Minister of Tourism to the news. The beginning of the bogus email is very catchy with a title 'Traian Basescu resigns!'. The spam email carries the message which states that Romanian president Traian Basescu has publicly declared on January 16, 2012 at an emergency press conference that he would resign during the week. The fake email also tells that a large group of people would arrive in the capital from across the country to rejoice this triumph. The bogus email also includes a link to see the reaction of Elena Udrea jacket, which takes to an image, which is an executable file jpg.exe. Once the image is opened, the recipient's machine is corrupted by Trojan.Agent.ATWK. Trojan.Agent.ATWK enables cybercriminals to obtain remote access and control over the infected computer user's PC. If you get such malicious email, do not click on the link and open the infected file to block Trojan.Agent.ATWK from affecting your computer system.
