Computer users that are online researching for services or merchandise may be attracted by a free program named Tremendous Sale, hoping to find good deals and clearance sales. Regretfully, the real objective of Tremendous Sale, a Possibly Unwanted Program (PUP), is not to provide what the user is looking for; instead, Tremendous Sale will display so many advertisements that computer users may be prevented from achieving what they want. Tremendous Sale also may be installed as part of the installation process of free software when computer users allow the entrance of additional programs because they installed the free software without reading its EULA, in other words, unknowingly. Tremendous Sale also may cause other problems on an affected computer such as diminished performance, leaking of browsing information, the installation of other PUPs and adware, etc.
