'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus is distributed to attacked computers with the help a ransomware Trojan. 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus shows a false full-screen pop-up warning message 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' supposedly coming from the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in an effort to dupe victimized Internet users into believing they have performed cybercrime activities. A misleading pop-up warning message shown by 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus on the screen of the corrupted PC declares that the computer has been blocked because the computer user has been performing illicit online activities. The fake pop-up notification used by 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus is created by the ransomware Trojan, which locks the victimized computer and asks to pay a fine of of $300 via MoneyPak or Paysafecard to unlock the PC. However, the paid ransom won't permit attacked PC user to restore access to their computers.
