'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus is distributed to attacked computers with the help a ransomware Trojan. 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus shows a false full-screen pop-up warning message 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' supposedly coming from the Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), in an effort to dupe victimized Internet users into believing they have performed cybercrime activities. A misleading pop-up warning message shown by 'The computer is locked by Internet Service Provider' Virus on the screen of the corrupted PC declares that the computer has been blocked because the computer user has been performing illicit online activities.
