TasticSurf is considered to be adware, which may be promoted via numerous free program downloads that might have packed into their installation TasticSurf. Upon installation on the PC, TasticSurf may insert its own toolbar and alter the default start page, search provider and a new tab window with a suspicious website which may be commercial. TasticSurf may show unwanted pop-up advertisements containing sponsored links, deals and offers in search results of any genuine search provider and may collect search terms or keywords from the computer user's Web search queries. The pop-up ads of TasticSurf may state that they are sent to the computer user by TasticSurf Deals or TasticSurf Ads. TasticSurf may be used to increase traffic of the questionable website by using tricky techniques and generate advertising income from clicks on advertisements. TasticSurf may also be added to the custom installer on many untrustworthy download websites, so if the computer user has downloaded a free program from these download websites, TasticSurf might have also been installed during the setup process of the application.
