Computer users that want to build a custom gaming center that is similar to Steam and Battlenet without programming knowledge may be interested in installing the TapBreaker software. The TapBreaker software is a browser extension that can allow users to compile custom packs of games on Tapbreaker.com and add shortcuts to games on their PC. The TapBreaker extension is compatible with Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Internet Explorer. You can download and install the TapBreaker software from Tapbreaker.com and may notice it in freeware bundles under the 'Advanced' and 'Custom' option. The TapBreaker program is designed to modify the new tab page of your browser and host the game packs you create. However, the TapBreaker extension is supported by advertisements, and you may experience many pop-up ads on Amazon and video commercials on YouTube. Security investigators reveal that the TapBreaker extension functions as adware and may bombard your screen with promotional offers, coupons and discounts from affiliated vendors.
The TapBreaker adware may allow you to play premium games like Sentry Fortress on Tapbreaker.com, but you may be required to provide information like your phone number and complete marketing surveys every day. The TapBreaker adware may allow advertisers to send advertisements to your phone and email address. The TapBreaker adware may read formation like your software configuration, IP address, and recent Internet history to generate personalized commercials on your desktop. The ads by TapBreaker may be injected on non-affiliated pages as in-text hyperlinks, and you may see notifications by TapBreaker on your desktop while your Web browser is closed. The TapBreaker adware is a member of the Gamevance family of adware-powered extensions and is similar to ArcadeGiant. Users that are having problems with the TapBreaker adware may not load pages properly and experience browser crashes. Moreover, the TapBreaker adware may connect to the server on Fagamesframework.com, which may be an infection source. Security investigators recommend users to install a credible anti-spyware tool to remove the TapBreaker adware safely and block connections to insecure servers.
