System Notifier is adware that may display unwanted ads on the screen of the PC when the computer user is visiting social networking websites, online shopping websites and other well-known websites. If the computer user clicks on the pop-up advertisements displayed by System Notifier, adware may redirect him to suspicious websites. System Notifier may target and be installed on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome. When installed on the PC, System Notifier may alter browser settings and substitute the default homepage and search engine or a new tab page with a questionable website.
