SugarSearch is a PUP (potentially unwanted program) that was produced by Super Web LLC to market a variety of retailers online. SugarSearch may declare to make the computer user's Internet surfing experience more effective and make online shopping more efficient; however, in truth, it may rely on affiliate advertising, and its main aim may be to benefit from raised traffic of unreliable websites. These websites may be designed for commercial intentions. SugarSearch may proliferate and access the computer system as an additional program bundled with free software downloaded and installed from untrustworthy download websites. Upon installation, SugarSearch may trace the PC user's online activities and create and display pop-up advertisements and messages related to the computer user's online search requests. The SugarSearch advertisements may include discount coupons, deals, sales and offers for purchasing online. If the PC user clicks on the SugarSearch advertisements or messages, he may enable its authors to increase traffic of associated websites and generate advertising income from sponsored links of SugarSearch.
