StorageProtector is a rogue anti-spyware program that is designed to lure internet users out of their money. Usually, StorageProtector is downloaded and installed by a Trojan, through browser security exploits or via other illicit mechanisms. Once it is executed, StorageProtector will display fake Warning messages and 'Windows-Like' popups in your system tray stating that your PC is infected with malware. Once you click on any of these false notifications, you will be directed to StorageProtector’s home site where you will be forced to purchase the full version of StorageProtector.
