If SportsSearcher is present on your computer, it will modify certain browser settings to serve its agenda immediately. The homepage, new page tab, and the default search engine will be set to open sports-searcher.com. On its own, this search engine cannot provide any results for the conducted search queries. Instead, it redirects them through a legitimate search engine, in this case - search.yahoo.com, for the generation of a list of relevant results.
