The Splendor Search application is promoted as a search optimizer that is unlike any other because it can bring style to your search operations on Google, Bing, Yandex and DuckDuckGo. The Splendor Search application has an official page at Splendorsearc.com, but its installer can be acquired via freeware bundles only. That should lift a red flag, and you may want to reconsider installing the Splendor Search. The site of Splendor Search is very minimalistic mildly put. It should not come as a surprise that the Splendor Search app is an adware that may claim to offer improved search capabilities while bombarding users with advertisements from sponsors. Security researchers alert that the Splendor Search adware may slow down your browser to load advertising content on several new tabs and run as a background system service. Additionally, the Splendor Search adware may ask users to provide their phone number to receive exclusive offers, and you might be subscribed to premium services automatically.
The Splendor Search adware is similar to SearchOffModule and GotSearch.co.uk and might use custom CSS-styles to alter the way search results are presented to you. For example, the first page of results on Google may list sponsored results from Splendor Search only. That is a clear example of bad behavior and may be interpreted as an attempt to redirect users to untrusted domains. Security researchers add that the Splendor Search adware may edit your DNS settings to reroute your Internet traffic through the servers of advertisers, and make sure your browsing history and search terms are recorded as usage statistics, and help for better marketing development. Computer users that are infected with the Splendor Search adware might notice a small applet in the bottom right corner of their desktops that represents a search field by Splendor Search. Typing in the Splendor Search adware applet may bring up results from the Web that would lead users to insecure e-commerce portals. Users are not advised to buy items from the stores linked to the Splendor Search adware to avoid losing money and their credit card data altogether. You might want to install a credible anti-malware utility that can delete the Splendor Search adware and protect you from loading insecure content online.
