SpeedVideoPlayer is a dubious web browser extension that may affect your web browser's behavior in a negative way. According to the authors of SpeedVideoPlayer, their software product is meant to enhance the user's experience by providing them with a quick and convenient way to create and manage playlists that consist of audio and video files. Naturally, all this is done in their web browsers, so there's no need to use 3rd-party applications. However, what the authors of SpeedVideoPlayer may not want you to know is that their application may be associated with aggressive advertising techniques that are typical for adware.
Security researchers classify the SpeedVideoPlayer browser extension as 'adware' and recommend its immediate removal. The extension's installation may bring a large number of advertisements to your web browsing sessions, and it also may perform other actions that may be questionable to say the least. For example, the SpeedVideoPlayer adware may use a tracking cookie to collect data about your web browsing habits and online activities. SpeedVideoPlayer's reputation is quite poor, so few users would install this extension on purpose. That's why the authors of SpeedVideoPlayer may rely on unfair distribution techniques to spread their software. The SpeedVideoPlayer may be delivered to your computer via a software bundle that may install 3rd-party apps without your knowledge.
