SpeedSave is adware that may insert an add-on on the Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome. Once installed on the computer system, SpeedSave may display pop-up advertisements carrying various online saving coupons, discount deals, and other offers. SpeedSave may seem to be a useful program to online shoppers, and it can be downloaded and installed manually. However, SpeedSave may also be considered to be a potentially unwanted application if it installs itself on the PC without the computer user's permission and knowledge. SpeedSave may spread and enter the PC through bundled freeware. SpeedSave may keep track of the PC user's surfing habits and gather browsing details that may later be used in targeted advertising campaigns.
