Software Education Hijacker is a browser hijacker that carries the web address Sftwred.info.com promoting specific products and services. Software Education Search Hijacker will compromise the default homepage of an affected Internet browser when a PC user installed an adware program. Once the adware program is installed, intentionally or not, it makes certain changes on the hacked web browser to execute Software Education Hijacker. Software Education Hijacker adds a plug-in or add-on so that it runs when the victimized computer user uses the targeted web browser. The search page of Software Education is powered by Google search engine so computer users don't need to worry about the search results it provides. However, the existence of Software Education redirects the home page of the hijacked Internet browser to Sftwred.info, which some security tools detect as malicious. To stop hits to Sftwred.info or remove Software Education Hijacker from the corrupted PC, target PC users should delete the add-on from the web browser.
