Softbard.com is a malicious browser hijacker, which was designed to sponsor rogue anti-spyware software Antivirus Monitor. Softbard.com gets inside the compromised PC system through a trojan infection, so it is quite hard to notice its penetration. However, it's easy to notice its continuous redirections to Softbard.com where you will see those alleged free system scanners and pop-ups that offer to install a trial version of Antivirus Monitor. Fake scanners able enough to check your computer's disks and folders for malware and then force a targeted user into installing the trial version of Antivirus Monitor to remove the parasites.
