Social Reviewer Ads (a.k.a. Social Reviewer) is a curious application that has an interesting gimmick; it taps into that huge well known as social networks. Social Reviewer Ads's pitch is that it allows you to view Facebook friends that have unfriended you-a seemingly perfect tool for the individuals that live and breathe through the social network. However, in return for these paranoia-driven services, Social Reviewer Ads will overwhelm you with ads and pop-ups. Like most browser add-ons of similar caliber, Social Reviewer Ads is distributed almost exclusively through software bundles; while there is an official website with a download link, it does not work, and the website as a whole gives off the impression of being held together by duct tape and spit. While the utility of Social Reviewer Ads is dubious and questionable, not to mention outright creepy, the advertising content slung your way is quite concrete. The ads and pop-ups promoted by Social Reviewer Ads may redirect you to malicious and infected pages, exposing your computer to risk. Suffice to say, clicking on any of them is an ill-advised endeavor. If you fancy knowing who unfriended you on Facebook, you might give Social Reviewer Ads a try; however, be warned that the ad content can indeed be dangerous. Utilizing a robust and up-to-date anti-virus application will alleviate most of the danger associated with malware threats.
