SiteSimple is adware that may show unwanted pop-up ads whenever the computer user is visiting online shopping or other websites such as social networking websites. This may signify that the PC and Web browser is affected by adware, specifically, SiteSimple. SiteSimple may spread and enter the PC packaged together with various freeware that may hide itself as beneficial software that PC users can download from unreliable download websites. Once the computer user installs any free program, he may also install SiteSimple as an additional application on the computer system with or without his permission. PC users may overlook the installation steps of SiteSimple, which may agree to install it on the PC together with a free application. SiteSimple may collect and record the computer user's Internet surfing activities. SiteSimple may then use this data for targeted advertising intentions. SiteSimple may also result in unwanted browser redirects to questionable websites that were designed to possibly boost website traffic and benefit from clicks on advertisements.
