Infected Computers: The number of confirmed and suspected cases of a particular threat detected on infected computers as reported by SpyHunter.

SilenceInstaller is a potentially unwanted program that may perform several unwanted functions on your computer. In some cases the SilenceInstaller program may load from installing freeware programs on your computer obtained from a random downloads site. Once loaded, SilenceInstaller may then change your default home page to something questionable or a generic search engine page. Additionally, SilenceInstaller may render random advertisement pop-ups that could redirect you to several other unwanted sites. It is best that SilenceInstaller be detected and removed using an antispyware program so you may set your desired default home page within your favorite web browser program. It is not until all files associated with SilenceInstaller are removed, including plugins and add-ons, that you are able to reset your internet settings.
