The ShopperSaga application is developed by Lamphouse Media, LLC and is promoted to web surfers on Shoppersaga.com as a shopping companion that can refund a percentage of the money you spend on affiliate online shops. However, the ShopperSaga shopping companion is a self-extracting adware that may install its files in the hidden AppData folder and start pushing ads in your default Internet client when you browse the Web. The ShopperSaga adware is a variant of Coupon Ahoy that is aimed at users that prefer to shop online for clothing, accessories and shoes that are up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. The ShopperSaga adware may provide coupons, discounts, and vouchers via pop-up windows, banners and transitional pages. The ShopperSaga adware may use attractive AdobeFlash animations to invite users to purchase goods on less-reputable online stores that might not protect your credit card data by upholding the industry standards. Moreover, the ShopperSaga adware is known to use tracking cookies and collect usage statistics about your online behavior that may be shared with third parties without your consent. Security analysts note that the ShopperSaga adware may record how much time you spent on particular websites and your preferred web apps. The ShopperSaga adware is cross-compatible and can collect information from Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, and Mozilla Firefox. The ShopperSaga adware may use unsigned XPI, CRX, and BHO files to facilitate its preparations and that is a security vulnerability that might be exploited by third parties. Security analysts reveal that the ShopperSaga adware may register several runtime DLLs to run simultaneously in your system background and might slow down your computer significantly. As stated above, the ShopperSaga adware may help users to claim rebates and may want to access your PayPal, Paymate and MoneyBookers accounts. Needless to say, you are strongly advised against granting the ShopperSaga adware access to your money. Experienced computer users may not remove all components of the ShopperSaga adware that may be installed in the Temp directory. It is best to install a reliable anti-spyware application to delete the binary associated with the ShopperSaga adware.
