EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.

The advertisements, pop-up windows and banners that feature slogans such as 'RocketTab powered by Setli,' 'Powered by Setli,' 'Ads powered by Setli,' 'Brought to you by Setli,' and 'Ads by Setli,' are generated by the Setli adware that may be on your computer. The first mentions of the Setli adware on the Internet date from the last week of September 2017. PC users who tend to explore the Web in search for free software may download free program bundles and use software downloaders that may install the Setli adware if they are not paying attention to the Terms of Use Agreement and forget to choose the 'Advanced' or 'Custom' option. The Setli adware is not perceived as a threat to your cyber security necessarily. However, the video commercials, banners, promotional images, pop-up windows, floating ad panels, and hyper-linked premium content generated via Setli might include links to untrusted pages, corrupted ads, insecure content and fake online stores.
Computer security experts who performed an analysis on the Setli adware activities stated that the app might inject code into legitimate processes and attempt to implement browser redirects. For example, browsing Amazon and searching for a pair of new shoes may trigger a mechanism in Setli that causes a redirect to a competing online store that may have a favorable price compared to the item you found on Amazon. You should keep in mind that the offers generated via Setli may not be verified and you may lose your money. PC users who suspect having adware on their machines are advised to refrain from accessing their online banking accounts and making purchases before they check that the computer is free from adware. Removing all components of the Setli adware, as well as restoring optimal browser performance can be achieved through running a complete system scan with a reputable anti-malware solution.
