SecurityScan4You.com is a browser hijacker and malicious website that promotes the rogue anti-spyware application System Security 2009. SecurityScan4You.com will redirect the user's web browser to its domain. Trojans are responsible for hijacking the user's web browser. A fake scanner will run and report false results claiming that the user's PC has numerous infections (all of which are fabricated). This deceitful tactic is employed in order to try and mislead the user into buying the rogue System Security 2009 program. The fake pop-ups and false alerts that appear before the fake scan read as follows:

"Warning!!! Your computer contains various signs of viruses and malware programs presence. Your system requires immediate anti viruses check! System Security will perform a quick and free scanning of your PC for viruses and malicious programs."

or

"The page at http://SecurityScan4You.com says:
Your computer remains infected by viruses! They can cause data loss and file damages and need to be cured as soon as possible. Return to System Security and download it secure to your PC"

The user should not install or purchase any program. In addition the user is advised to remove the infections without hesitation.
