SearchScope

SearchScope is adware that displays random pop-up ads that may present computer users with coupon or shopping savings. When surfing popular online shopping sites, SearchScope shows ads with links to coupons or online deals. In some cases, SearchScope may display these ads at random causing a disruption when surfing the Web. This type of adware may redirect to unwanted sites that may spread Potentially Unwanted Programs (PUPs). SearchScope may load on a system from installing bundled freeware. Because PC users tend to overlook what they install, SearchScope may inadvertently install on the computer, and its presence is known when annoying pop-up ads with 'Ads by SearchScope' appear on the browser.
