The Searchgosearch.com site is presented to users as a search services provider, which is associated with a browser extension under the same name—'SearchGoSearch.' The SearchGoSearch extension and Searchgosearch.com are developed and managed by Clever App, S.L. The company is known for releasing ad-supported software, and the SearchGoSearch app appears to be a renamed version of the FindGoFind extension published in January 2017. However, the new version dubbed SearchGoSearch appeared in August 2017 since the original was not received very well by netizens. Both programs rely on integration with your Internet client to customize your online search. The portals Findgofind.co and Searchgosearch.com are identical in appearance and functionality, but the SearchGoSearch extension appears to redirect users from Searchgosearch.com to search results at Findgofind.co/search?q=[SEARCH KEYWORD].
Modern-day Web surfers may not appreciate the minimalistic design of Findgofind.co and Searchgosearch.com as they lack options to sort the results. Consequently, the results pages on Searchgosearch.com and Findgofind.co may appear confusing and filled with random links, images and videos. The reviews on the Chrome Web store regarding the FindGoFind were not flattering, and its renamed version did not manage to win the hearts of many users as well. The SearchGoSearch browser add-on may be distributed to users via free software packages, and it may be found under the 'Advanced' and 'Custom' options. Some users have submitted complaints that their browser is hijacked by Searchgosearch.com but that may be the result of the unintentional installation of the SearchGoSearch extension, or its earlier variant FindGoFind, which can be accessed on the Chrome Web Store at Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/findgofind/nimjekmppgdlphialjmhkbdabomonbpp at the time of research. However, the SearchGoSearch program is not featured at Chrome.google.com/webstore, and it may include insecure code and redirect users to untrusted pages. Google Inc. recommends users to stick to using verified extensions unless they are programmers who know what to install and what is best to avoid. PC users that are not sure if running the SearchGoSearch extension is a good idea may want to employ the services of a trusted security suite that can help them protect their system.
