The domain is registered by a marketing company called Imali Media Ltd. (h[tt]p://imali[.]media) that is responsible for publishing the 'FunSafeTab' browser extension. The 'FunSafeTab' extension is aimed at Google Chrome and Chromium-based browser users. The 'FunSafeTab' software is known to be promoted at h[tt]p://mysafetabs[.]com where the name 'MySafeTabs' is put front and center. However, the 'Add to Chrome' button redirects users to[.]com/webstore/detail/funsafetab/nfhigchanlgmnabmmchjdlnbomljgmfm where users are invited to install 'FunSafeTab.'

The 'FunSafeTab' application is an ad-supported program that is designed to change the default new tab in Google Chrome and Chromium-based browsers to h[tt]p://search.funsafetabsearch[.]com/?src=FunSafeTab_nt&ext_id=nfhigchanlgmnabmmchjdlnbomljgmfm. The problem with the 'FunSafeTab' extension is that it is promoted with the name 'MySafeTabs' and PC users are suggested that 'FunSafeTab' adds security tools to your browsing. In reality, you receive a widget at the top-left corner of that allows you to issue requests to legitimate cybersecurity platforms like Sucuri, VirusTotal and Webinspector. The 'FunSafeTab' browser extension is not a cybersecurity application. The 'FunSafeTab' extension provides users with a new tab powered by and a customized search by Yahoo, but nothing more. Some computer security vendors may classify 'FunSafeTab' by Imali Media Ltd. as a browser hijacker while others may categorize it as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP). You can uninstall the 'FunSafeTab' extension from Chrome with the help of a reliable anti-spyware scanner.
