The site came to attention after reports of browser hijacks and unwanted redirects started appearing. A closer look at Searchbee.net and a few tests later it became apparent that the site may not load search results correctly and host harmful code identified as HTML/DSPark.B in 2013. Analysis of Searchbee.net did not find potentially dangerous scripts on the page, but the search functionality is non-existent at the time of research. Some Web filtering services like Scumware.org are known to present alerts that Searchbee.net is unsafe to browse. However, third-party security scanners have confirmed there are no issues with the site.
