Screenshot Pro is a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP), which is promoted via downloads of freeware. Screenshot Pro may encompass adware functionalities and other features specific to security infections. Screenshot Pro is not a threat, however, throughout its setup process, computer users may be offered to install additional applications that may distribute adware and browser hijackers to their PCs. Screenshot Pro may come packed with free tools that had Screenshot Pro added into their installation. Screenshot Pro may seem to be valuable software but, in reality, it is an annoying program. While being installed on the PC, Screenshot Pro may alter the system settings. Screenshot Pro may modify the default homepage and search provider with a specific questionable website or set up this website as a new tab page automatically. Screenshot Pro also may display random pop-up ads, banner ads and in-text ads, or ads linked to the PC users' surfing routine on the desktop of their computers because Screenshot Pro may collect the computer users' preferences and use it for marketing purposes. Screenshot Pro's activities may cause the computer to become slow and even crash. Since Screenshot Pro may install corrupted trace files that may be difficult to find, the advised method of removal is by using anti-malware solutions.
