Save Clicker, otherwise known as SaveClicker, is a potentially unwanted program that may generate unwanted discount coupon ads when computer users are visiting online shopping related websites. The makers of the Save Clicker browser extension declare that Save Clicker can save time and money while shopping online by automatically showing lowest prices, discounts, coupons and the hottest sales of the selected products. However, in reality, Save Clicker add-on is categorized as adware, and it is not advised using it. Save Clicker may be marketed and proliferate to PCs through packed free programs and unsafe downloads, for example, bogus Java downloads and bogus browser updates, and install itself on the computer system without the PC user's agreement. When installed, Save Clicker may trace the PC user's Web browsing routine by recording IP address, websites visited, and OS information. Save Clicker may slow down major Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox and may interfere with the normal operating of the PC.
