Sammsoft Toolbar

Sammsoft Toolbar is a toolbar/ potentially unwanted program that is installed on Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and other web browsers. Usually Sammsoft Toolbar is installed on the compromised PC without the target computer user's permission and knowledge. Sammsoft Toolbar inserts unwanted and unknown plug-ins/extensions or add-ons into the web browser. Sammsoft Toolbar compromises the attacked Internet browser by changing default settings. Sammsoft Toolbar will change desktop background, modify the default homepage and default search engine with Sammsoft.com, or open it as a new tab window. Sammsoft Toolbar will also display repetitive pop-up advertisements and sponsored links on the desktop of the corrupted PC. Sammsoft Toolbar contains spying capabilities allowing it to track the victim's web interests and gather his/her personal information which is later transferred to a remote attacker for malicious purposes. Sammsoft Toolbar can disabled Folder options, Task manager, Registry editing tools and other applications.
