SafetyGuard

SafetyGuard aka Safety Guard, is a rogue anti-spyware application that is able to impersonate a legitimate security program that is designed to remove malware parasites. Not only is SafetyGuard unable to detect malware, it cannot remove it. All of the popup messages and system scan results displayed by SafetyGuard are bogus. SafetyGuard is not a trusted program. In no way should any computer user use SafetyGuard to fix computer issues or remove malware. SafetyGuard should be detected and removed with a legitimate spyware removal tool to limit damage to the infected computer.
