Robotcaptcha.info is a shady website, which only serves to spread advertisements. If you happen to browse low-quality websites with dodgy content like pages that host pirated media and adult entertainment, you may have encountered the Robotcaptcha.info site. A regular occurrence on such websites is flashing advertisements and all sorts of pop-ups with content that is meant to look very intriguing to get the user to click on them to learn more. However, despite still using social engineering techniques, the approach that the operators of the Robotcaptcha.info have taken is a little different. This website uses a fake CAPTCHA service, which prompts the user to click on the 'Allow' button, which will prove that they are not a robot supposedly. If they click the 'Allow' button, however, will enable the Robotcaptcha.info site to send notifications in their Web browser. You better believe that this website will waste no time and will begin to spam you with unwanted advertisements immediately.
While the Robotcaptcha.info does not perform any threatening activities, the constant advertisements bombardment is not desirable. Often, the advertisements promote low-quality products and dubious services and are not to be trusted.
If you happen to receive notifications by the Robotcaptcha.info, we would advise you to go to your browser's settings and make sure to revoke the permissions you have given to the Robotcaptcha.info. This should resolve the problem with the ad spam, and you can go back to browsing with no further issues.
