Spyware.ReplaceSearch is a malicious software program with the ability to monitor a victim's internet activities. Spyware.ReplaceSearch is able to secretly gather a victim's sensitive information without his/her knowledge, and then send it to a remote attacker that may utilize it for criminal activities. Spyware.ReplaceSearch is often bundled with shareware or freeware programs that are downloaded from the internet. On infiltrating a system, Spyware.ReplaceSearch may modify a victim's browser settings and redirect searches to untrustworthy websites.
