The RebateDaily program may be offered to users as a shopping enhancer that may accompany programs like Web Zoom and AnonymizerGadget. The RebateDaily program is offered for free download on Rebatedaily.com and users are promised to receive cash back when using the RebateDaily shopping enhancer. However, the RebateDaily program is recognized as adware. Security researchers note that the RebateDaily adware is written in the Java programming language and may be packed as a browser extension, add-on, plugin, and a browser Helper Object to facilitate its activities in Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
