The RapidMediaConverter application is promoted as a video conversion tool that allows you to adapt videos for preview on different devices, but you should note that RapidMediaConverter is ad-supported, and you will be bombarded with advertisements. The RapidMediaConverter application may attach a plugin to your web browser and read your browsing and download history as well as use tracking cookies in order to facilitate the display of targeted promotional materials. The ads by RapidMediaConverter may be loaded on banners, ad boxes, transitional pages, pop-up windows and sponsored links on web sites you browse. The RapidMediaConverter program is deployed to users via freeware packages that are often found to contain the OpenCandy adware.
