The QuikLogin extension by Quiklogin.co is presented to users as a tool, which allows for simple access to your favorite accounts from your new tab page. QuikLogin is an app that alters the way your new tab page looks by adding a weather forecast feed, a clock, a search bar, and a few links to Instagram, Twitter, Outlook, Yahoo, Facebook and Gmail. The QuikLogin extension is available to Google Chrome users who wish to change the default new tab page in their browser. The QuikLogin extension by Quiklogin.co can be found on the following page on the Chrome Web Store:
Chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quiklogin/hbeolcllcfihndbjaclefpfbmefcnlga.
You should note that the QuikLogin app is an ad-supported product, which requires access to your privacy settings and changes your homepage to an offline Web page. Consequently, the address bar points to chrome-extension://hbeolcllcfihndbjaclefpfbmefcnlga/html/newtab.html whenever you open a new tab and start an online session. There is nothing wrong with monetizing the services provided via the QuikLogin extension, but it is best to read the Terms of Service, and Privacy Agreement uploaded to Quiklogin.co/eula and Quiklogin.co/privacy first. When you proceed to install the QuikLogin extension a dialog box would appear on the screen that says:
'Add "QuikLogin" ?
It can:
• Read and change all your data on the websites you visit.
• Change your privacy-related settings.'
Bing.com handles all searches performed on the QuikLogin New Tab, and there isn't an option to change that. You have the ability to modify the new tab page background image using pictures from Quiklogin.co, as well as pull photos submitted to Flickr. The QuikLogin New Tab experience may not be for everyone considering it has a limited number of links, does not allow search engine customizations and new hyperlinks to be added in any way. The QuikLogin software is classified as a Potentially Unwanted Program (PUP) that can be removed via the Extensions Manager if necessary.
