PWSteal.EyeStye is a Trojan that targets Windows PCs. PWSteal.EyeStye can infiltrate into the affected PC through various security holes, encrypted downloads, infectious removable devices and many other way. PWSteal.EyeStye encompasses rootkit characteristics that make it hard to find and uninstall by many security tools. PWSteal.EyeStye can steal confidential data from affected computer users and then use it for malicious activities. PWSteal.EyeStye can insert its harmful codes into main Windows applications, record your keyboard key strokes and mouse activity, surreptitiously recording users names or passwords. PWSteal.EyeStye can also drop and erase files, take over processes, use your email accounts for sending spam email messages via SMTP, disable Safe mode and connect you to IM chats. PWSteal.EyeStye can also make changes to your universal serial bus (USB) drives, which then would be used for PWSteal.EyeStye's propagation to other PCs. PWSteal.EyeStye can use unauthorized web connections to link your PC to remote servers and transmit all of the stolen private details such as bank account and social security numbers to attackers and associated third-party criminals, who could use it maliciously.
