PUP.wSys.A

PUP.wSys.A is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), which may be installed to a PC without the computer user knowing about it. PUP.wSys.A may also be commonly installed legitimately incorporated in another program, often labelled as an 'ad-supported program', in which the End User License Agreement commonly forces the computer user to accept that, in addition to software, he is downloading. Extermination of PUP.wSys.A may lead to harm of the ad-supported application, which was installed with it. While being installed, PUP.wSys.A may cover the screen of the computer system with disturbing pop-up advertisements. PUP.wSys.A may also trace the PC user's browsing habits, grab numerous data and transfer it for advertising purposes. Therefore, PUP.wSys.A may lead the computer user to serious privacy issues and identity theft. PUP.wSys.A may change browser settings to possibly permit other malware attacks.
