PUP.UnFriendChecker is a potentially unwanted program, which is supported by adware applications. PUP.UnFriendChecker may install unwanted toolbars or contain other uncertain intentions. PUP.UnFriendChecker may include rootkit functionalities to hide itself deeply into the targeted PC, browser hijacking and, generally, just interfering with the affected Internet user's experience. PUP.UnFriendChecker may use blackhat SEO to boost traffic of the doubtful advertisement website and benefit from click fraud. PUP.UnFriendChecker may access the compromised PC packaged with freeware and shareware applications (video recording/streaming, download-managers or PDF creators).
