Speed Cleaner is a potentially unwanted program (PUP), found as PUP.Speed Cleaner, that may typically be distributed via the Internet and masquerade as a useful Windows optimization tool that is produced to repair system errors and uninstall security infections from a computer. In reality, the scanner of PUP.Speed Cleaner may find a variety of system issues on the computer that may be false and imaginary. PUP.Speed Cleaner may generate and show bogus alerts with the goal to persuade computer users to fix PC problems with the supposed full version of Speed Cleaner. PUP.Speed Cleaner may install itself onto the PC without the computer user knowing about this, or it may be downloaded and installed as an additional application bundled with free tools.
PUP.Speed Cleaner may also circulate via social networking websites, spam emails, and infected files that can be downloaded from file-sharing networks simulating executable programs, games and movies. PUP.Speed Cleaner may not show any components to be uninstalled automatically from the PC. PUP.Speed Cleaner may not show an entry on Control Panel of Windows. The only way to uninstall PUP.Speed Cleaner from the computer may be possible by downloading their own application from own website. Computer users should use reputable anti-malware software to rid the PC of PUP.Speed Cleaner.
