PUP.Prt is an adware application that may display pop-up advertisements, sponsored links, offers, deals and discount coupons on shopping-related websites and social networking, or other legitimate websites that might have been corrupted by PUPs or adware. PUP.Prt pop-up messages and advertisements may appear as boxes, which may include numerous coupons that may show additional pop-up advertisements and banners on the affected computer, if used. PUP.Prt might be developed particularly to generate advertising income from advertisement clicks. PUP.Prt may disrupt the computer user's Web browsing by directing computer users to dubious websites. PUP.Prt may insert the add-on, plugin or browser extension into Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome when the PC user installs other freeware or shareware that may have PUP.Prt packaged into their installation processes. Computers users that are infected with PUP.Prt should remove PUP.Prt with a malware remover.
