PUP.IePluginService is a potentially unwanted application (PUA), which may be downloaded from questionable download websites when a PC user downloads free programs. PUP.IePluginService may result in a variety of computer problems when it is downloaded and installed on the PC. The computer user may agree to download PUP.IePluginService when he is downloading other free software, or he may downloadPUP.IePluginService inadvertently by being not enough attentive to the installation process of a free tool. When the computer user downloads a free application from the Internet and does not accurately follow the download agreement, he may not know what extra potentially unwanted programs may come packaged with the free program he is downloading. PUP.IePluginService may deliver disturbing pop-up ads on the desktop of the PC. PUP.IePluginService may insert an unwanted browser extension, add-on or plug-in into the Web browser. PUP.IePluginService may also result in continuous browser redirects to questionable websites.
