Provembe.club is a website that sends unwanted advertisements to users' computers. People usually get redirected to this page by other similar pages on the Internet. However, corrupted advertisements and banners also can redirect unintended users to Provembe.club. This online tactic exploits a well-known social engineering tactic to get users' permission to deliver advertisements straight to their computers. It displays the following message:

The text in this pop-up window is misleading, as it makes users believe they need to press the "Allow" button to view the website's content, while, in fact, they subscribe to push notifications from this website. As a result, users will start seeing pop-ups, banners, and other intrusive advertising content on their screens, even if no Internet browser is launched currently.

The unwanted subscription to Provembe.club can be removed from the browser settings. Yet, users who see undesired pop-up messages and banners from suspicious websites should scan their devices for other malware threats that also can generate advertisements.
