ProtectOne
ProtectOne aka Protect One is an illegitimate malware removal tool originating from Korea. Trojans, that can exploit system vulnerabilities, typically distribute ProtectOne by secretly installing it onto compromised computers. Once executed, ProtectOne will flood a desktop with alarming security alerts and pop-up warnings. ProtectOne will also run a system scan that is designed to automatically report the detection of dangerous threats such as spyware, Trojans or viruses. Users should note that all security alerts or scans run by ProtectOne are fake and better to ignore. Do not follow the recommendation to purchase the full version of ProtectOne; you will just be wasting your money on an application that doesn't even exist, let alone work. Remove ProtectOne from your system immediately after detection.
