EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecard
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are assessment reports for different malware threats which have been collected and analyzed by our research team. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards evaluate and rank threats using several metrics including real-world and potential risk factors, trends, frequency, prevalence, and persistence. EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards are updated regularly based on our research data and metrics and are useful for a wide range of computer users, from end users seeking solutions to remove malware from their systems to security experts analyzing threats.
EnigmaSoft Threat Scorecards display a variety of useful information, including:
Ranking: The ranking of a particular threat in EnigmaSoft’s Threat Database.
Severity Level: The determined severity level of an object, represented numerically, based on our risk modeling process and research, as explained in our Threat Assessment Criteria.

The Prolonger program from PremiumSoft may have been promoted to you as a tool to extend the battery life of your laptop, but it is adware. The Prolonger adware consists of runtime DLLs that are placed in the ProggramData folder. Also, Prolonger adware can attach its code to your Internet client via registry keys in Windows. The Prolonger adware is deployed to users as an additional component of freeware bundles, and you may install it with the 'Express' or 'Typical' option automatically. The Prolonger adware uses tracking cookies, DOM storage data and a background process in the Windows Task Manager to facilitate the display of targeted advertisements. The Prolonger adware may show banners, pop-up windows, floating ad boxes and inline commercials loaded with content related to your recent online activities. The Prolonger adware functions similarly to My Deals Club and ActSys and may redirect you to untrusted domains. Moreover, the Prolonger adware may promote riskware such as AppGraffiti and 215.apps that may load video ads in your browser as well. Needless to say, the Prolonger adware could slow down your browser and send information like your browsing history to third parties without your consent. The Prolonger adware may add a task in the Windows Task Scheduler to enable its automatic updates and may introduce browser hijackers like EasyDocMerge and MetroHotspot as upgrades. You might wish to use a reputable anti-spyware tool to eradicate all components of the Prolonger adware and secure your computer.
