Police-save.empirehydrogen.org is an unreliable and possibly destructive website that may be used by cybercriminals to spread numerous ransomware to the infected computer systems. Police-save.empirehydrogen.org may be connected with browser hijackers and ransomware 'Police' Trojans. A related 'Police' ransomlock Trojan locks a PC and all the Web browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome installed on the computer system, displays a fake police alert supposedly coming from legitimate governmental authorities and demands a so-called ransom from a victimized computer user to be paid to unlock the PC and Web browser. The fake notification shown by Police-save.empirehydrogen.org on the desktop of the computer states that a PC user committed cybercrime and, therefore, violated certain copyright laws or other laws. Browser hijackers may also continuously reroute victims to Police-save.empirehydrogen.org or similar websites that may be used to deliver ransomware.
