The Polaris Search browser extension is developed by a company named Polarity Technologies Ltd., which is known for releasing free-to-use applications. The Polaris Search extension is not a standalone search services provider. The Polaris Search browser extension, a.k.a Polaris New Tab is tailored to load a customized version of Yahoo as the default new tab and home page. The Polaris Search New Tab can be accessed via hxxp://home.polarisearch.com/?siga=&sigs=&siguc= without installing the associated browser extension. Installing the Polaris Search extension from Polarity Technologies Ltd. means you grant it the following privileges:
