PE_SALITY.AC is a Trojan that is involved in a spam email campaign connected with Tibetan. PE_SALITY.AC is spread via spam emails supposedly pushing Tibetan culture, which allegedly include instructions on how to use the Input Method by Tibetans who might use Apple iOS 4.2 gadgets. Stating that to make Tibetan culture widespread by helping people who want to learn Tibetan language, the fictitious email claims that 'Digital Tibetan' recently developed the 'Input Method' for Tibetans who wish to successfully operate Apple iOS 4.2 gadgets. The described lexicon can be loaded for free. The made-up suggestions together with all associated files are attached to the phony email message. PE_SALITY.AC is included in a malicious attachment of the spam email. PE_SALITY.AC is delivered by another Trojan named TROJ_ARTIEF.EDX and is affected by a file infector. This file infector affects executable (.EXE) files placed in the Windows folder and its subfolders. It also infects .EXE files located in the root directory and its subfolders. The said action might make essential system programs not to run suitably. Also, the file infector installs a file identified as BKDR_SALITY.A, in the Windows system folder, which is embedded into all running processes.
